Enameled Silver Necklace

This long necklace is the most representative piece of the “Prisma” collection. It is composed of three medallions in the shape of petals which are then connected by a fine 950 silver chain made by hand.
The technique used to enamell these pieces remains the same in this collection, "cracking" or "color dissociation" which consists of applying different layers of enamel and firing until the lower layers rise to the surface, creating a sort of “controlled explosion”.

The medallions are made of copper and the enamel is a vitreous powder which on contact with fire crystallizes, forming a layer which, fused with the metal, gives rise to an extremely resistant piece with absolutely sublime color effects.
