"Flocon" Medaillon émaillée

The enameled "Floçon" medallion from the Pétales et Graines collection is much more than a simple accessory; it's a botanical poem that unfolds with every glance. Its soft, organic shape, both a drop of water and a seed, evokes the resilience of nature that I explore through this line.

Using the technique of enameling on copper, I sought to capture the raw beauty and poetic imperfection of living matter. The surface of this medallion reveals a miniature landscape, an intricate honeycomb pattern of lacework that seems to have grown from within. The warm ochre and golden-brown tones of the edges blend delicately into a luminous creamy heart, capturing the light like the sap of an almond. In the minute depressions of this motif, one can discern subtle, fleeting reflections of a dusty salmon pink, like the memory of a nascent petal or the fragility of an intimate ecosystem.

This jewel embodies the balance between finesse and strength, delicacy and vitality, a tribute to the subtle complexity of nature. The medallion is suspended from a fine 45cm solid 925 sterling silver chain, adding a touch of sophistication to this enameled work.
